Mick Hale began his residency at GEORGIES BAR. in October of 2012 and is currently spinning Sunday's popular weekly Drag Brunch & special events. Mick also kicked off his residency at The ASBURY Hotel, upon their opening year in 2016 & has been spinning their TEA dances & at Salvation rooftop since. Both the Bar & The Hotel are situated in Asbury Park: the hip beach-town where NYC & Philly goes to "play."

Mick is also the go-to DJ for many of NJ's biggest Equality Rights/LGBT groups, spinning multiple fundraisers & events for Project R.E.A.L, Garden State Equality, The Pride Network, The Center, Hyacinth Foundation, BiG LaRU & OGU all over the state since the 90's.
Hale was named "NJ's Best DJ" in the Odyssey Magazine NYC Nightlife Awards & also voted the 2015 "Best Male DJ-NJ" in the Beacon Lite "People's Choice Awards." He was recently a TOP 10 DJ in G.I.R.L. Radio's "The Next Circuit DJ" competition (out of thousands of entries.) His mixes were also spotlighted on FreshRadioUK and his Top10 lists have been featured in Get Out (NY) & Out-In-Jersey Magazines. He's been releasing electro music & remixing other artists since the 90's & has appeared on nearly 3 dozen CD releases as an artist, remixer, producer & graphic artist. BACKSPIN: Hale began DJ-ing in the mid 80's with College-Radio & Niteclub guest-slots, eventually landing a weekly spot at The Roxy in 1991 that turned into a 3-nite a week residency for nearly 7 years.
After this, Hale spun all over the tri-state area with residencies at The Melody in New Brunswick, Ground Zero in Hoboken and Swell, VuDu & Paradise in Asbury. Multiple guest appearances at many other area venues throughout the 90's & 00's included: CBGB (NYC,) The Colosseum (Sayerville,) Beach Bar (Asbury,) Uve's (Hoboken,) Ryan's (Orange,) The Station (Brookyln) & Conduit (Trenton,) to name a few.
